Masters Boxing New Zealand (MBINZ) was established to meet the growing demand for competitive opportunities among New Zealand’s seasoned fighters. Over recent years, Kiwi fighters have made their mark in Australia and on the international stage, showcasing their talent and passion in the Masters boxing arena.

Recognizing this momentum, Jack Boote, the founder of Masters Boxing Australia (MBA), expanded his vision to New Zealand, creating a platform for the country’s Masters boxers to compete at home.

MBINZ is proud to announce its inaugural event, set for June 2025, which will feature the highly anticipated MBINZ Golden Gloves tournament. This premier event promises to be a landmark occasion, bringing together some of the best Masters fighters from across New Zealand and beyond.

At MBINZ, we are committed to fostering a strong and supportive boxing community, providing opportunities for athletes to continue their passion for the sport while promoting fitness, camaraderie, and competition.
